Liège
Belgium's third city lies in a basin surrounded by hills at the meeting of the Meuse and the Ourthe. This great river port is an economic and commercial metropolis close to the border with Germany, and the headquarters of the economic institutions of Wallonia. Its glorious past has left it with a rich heritage of churches and museums. Liège is also a university town that students at the Sart Tilman campus keep very lively.
