Colmar

The typical Alsatian streets, bordered by pretty sculpted houses adorned with flowers give Colmar its charm. A wine capital, Colmar also excels gastronomically with many appetising visits to choose from... starting with the wine road (route des vins). All in all It's a marvellous Alsatian town. You may be surprised to hear that you can also go on a gondoliere and see the sights of Little Venice's canals. Finally, there is also the fabulous Issenheim retable to see.
