First impressions can leave visitors a little perplexed: a little too much noise, too many cars, rundown streets etc. Yet, “the pearl of the Danube” slowly reveals its treasures along the banks of the majestic Danube, on the verdant Buba hills, and in the narrow streets of the castle district, and is a living city rather than a “museum city”.
