Firenze

The land of \BDante\b, the city of the \BMédici\b (the protectors of the arts and learning) and a melting pot of humanist art, Florence, viewed from the \BFiesole\b or \BSan Miniato\b hills offers a unique panoramic view: the \BArno\b, spanned by the medieval \BPonte Vecchio\b, runs between the ochre and grey hues of the palaces from which emerge the red cupola of the \BDuomo\b, the white and green marble \BGiotto campanile\b and the golden stone campanile of the \BPalazzo Vecchio\b.
