Despite its tranquil position, the cottage is within easy reach of Exeter, (9 miles), Torquay and Newton Abbott (5 miles), and Dartmoor (6 miles).The original cottage is said to have been built in the shape of a boat, with rooms fore and aft and a rope ladder joining the ground floor to the upper deck - now replaced with modern stairs. Today it has been transformed into a delightful B&B by the current owners, Trevor and Tina Smee.Unfortunately, due to the rooms available, Minadab Cottage is unable to accommodate very young children.
