Map-based or text-based searches can use multiple criteria, such as the ability to select detailed information on up to 30 of the closest tourist attractions. All map enquiry services are fully localised down to the postcode or GPS coordinate of each individual terminal, ensuring searches are relevant geographically. In addition, each iPlus and iTravel terminal is equipped with a printer, allowing the user to take away information, maps, timetables and journey planner details for later reference.

With digital information and transactional networks designed and managed in urban hubs across over 50 cities in Europe, Cityspace is now piloting its latest ‘iVisit’ service to offer a reliable, easy-to-use, 24x7 dedicated visitor information and smart card ticketing system specifically for the tourism market.

The interactive terminals, which also offer email, weather and BBC News, are ideally located at key hubs around city centres, at transport interchanges, conference and exhibition centres, tourist offices or near main attractions.
