Like all the Old Town's streets, squashed between the river and mountain, the Getreidegasse or \"Grain Street\" spreads out, narrowly, between its old four-to-five-storey houses that lodge courtyards and passages within their depths. Sculpted window frames and numerous façade wrought iron signs, make this very lively street charming. You'll enjoy strolling from one shop to another along it.
