Famous throughout the world for its lager known as Pilsner Urquell, Plzen could not do otherwise than have a Beer Museum. The Pivovarské muzeum is fittingly installed in a house which belonged to a former brewer. Although transformed several times since the Middle Ages, it remains full of atmosphere and provides an ideal backdrop to interesting exhibits devoted to tools and objects relating to brewing and beer.
