Charlottenstraße
Charlottenstraße D - 14467 Potsdam
The ornate Baroque façades of this street are Potsdam's pride and joy. Ehemalige Hauptwache (old guardroom) boasts arcades supported by twin Tuscany columns. To the north, Charlottenstraße becomes Lindenstraße, lined with an attractive string of one-storey houses. Notice the elegant Baroque military orphanage at the beginning of Lindenstraße.
