Municipal Art Gallery

The Municpal Art Collections are housed in two separate buildings. The Schaezler-Palais galleries are the first to be passed through, containing works by German Baroque masters. The huge Banqueting Hall boasts a ceiling decorated with Rococo stuccowork and frescoes. A second gallery of paintings exhibits paintings by 15C and 16C Augsburgan and Swabian masters.
Next door is the Höhmannhaus gallery with its exhibits of bills of exchange and contemporary paintings.
