The treasury was entirely redesigned in 1995, now consisting of over a hundred outstanding works of art, including fabrics arranged around five main themes: Charlemagne's Church (Bust Reliquary of Charlemagne), the Liturgy at the Aachen Cathedral) (Cross of Lothair), the Coronation Church (with its unique ivory situla), The Relics and the Aachen Pilgrimage (Charlemagne's reliquary), the Cathedral, Mary's church (fine paintings and sculptures).
