Situated in an impressive modern building specially designed by architect Rafael Moneo to present the extensive collections of Roman archaeology from Mérida. On the upper floors, which contain jewellery, coins and pottery, you can see some fine mosaics.In the basement, see the excavation area (remains of Roman houses and tombs), above which the building was built.
