This so-called Ferdinand church stands in the centre of the San Miguel square whose terraces are very lively on fine days. Admire the Romanesque ogive facade which underlines the sobriety and harmony of its shape. Two buttresses enclose the central way enlivened by a simple archivolt ogive facade and a large rose window. The inside spaces are short: the central nave has preserved its wooden vault, the crossing vaults of the chancel are decorated with serrated ribs and in the centre is a retable in red marble from the 18C with an Immaculate Conception. Note the Mudejar elements which still remain in the Baptism chapel. Behind the church don't forget to take a glass of wine at or look into the famous Taberna San Miguel, el Pisto. It is worth the effort!
