The Church of Las Angustias was built by a pupil of Herrera, Juan de Nates, in the classical style dear to the heart of Philip II. It houses in the right-hand section of the transept the Virgin with Seven Knives, a work of art by the sculptor Juan de Juni, an eminent artist of the 16C Valladolid school.
