This art and history museum is located in the Hôtel Beurnier-Rossel. It was built in 1772-1773 by Philippe de la Guêpière, and is typical of a private mansion in a large town in the 18C. Today, it retains its character in the reconstructed apartments of the Beurnier-Rossel family. Period furniture, family portraits and an Encyclopaedists' library contribute to this timewalk. A variety of collections are exhibited: popular prints by the Deckherr brothers, religious objects from Lutheran churches and traditional headdresses.
