Place Kléber
Pl. Kléber F - 67000 Strasbourg
An 18C building, flanking the River Aubette. The river was named as such, as it was at dawn (à l'aube) that the garrisoned unit came to collect their medals. At the centre of the square, there is a statue by Jean-Baptiste Kléber (1753-1800). The socle recalls two of its victories, one at Altenkirchen and one at Héliopolis, and lists its claims to fame.
