It has a fine collection of paintings by 17C artists from Suffolk, including Constable (The Mill Stream, the House of Willy Lott and two paintings of the Stour Valley showing his father's kitchen and a flower garden) and Gainsborough (Portrait of William Wollaston, Passing the Ford, The Cottage Door and View by the Sea).
