Three elegant Georgian houses have been converted so that the attractive period rooms provide a setting for the Museum of Costume and Textiles' display of famous Nottingham lace, costumes (1760-1960), fans, lingerie, dolls and embroidery, reflecting the changes in fashions over the centuries. A map tapestry of Nottinghamshire dating from 1632 is worth careful scrutiny.
