| Salmon Weir Bridge Salmon Weir Bridge IRL - Galway | ||||||
| The bridge, built in 1818, links the old prison, which occupied the site of the cathedral from 1808 until 1839, to the law courts that were built on the site of a Benedictine abbey. Upstream lies the salmon weir after which the bridge was named and the viaduct of the old Galway to Clifden railway line. | ||||||
