Church of Saint Satyr (S. Satiro)
V. Speronari I - 20123 Milano
Except for the 9th C. squared bell tower, and the facade from 1871, the church is, as is the baptistry, done entirely by Bramante who, in a very Classic manner, solved the problem of space (a little bit cramped) by decorating it with trompe-l'oeil golden stucco. Saint Satyr - no, nothing to do with mythological creatures - he is the brother of Saint Ambrose, celebrated in this church every 17 of September.
