Cathedral (Duomo)
Piazza Cattedrale I - 44100 Ferrara
This Cathedral in the Romanesque-Gothic Lombard style has a beautiful tripartite façade endowed with a magnificent canopy (over the door), decorated with a depiction of the Last judgement. You will notice on the right side of the building (where the Portal of the Months and the boutiques of the Haberdasher's lodge are located). Note also the campanile (unfinished) by Leon Battista Alberti, and the semi-circular apse with its terracotta ornaments by Biaggio Rossetti.
