J. van Abbe, this building houses a rich collection of paintings and sculpture dating from 1900 to modern times, but focusing mainly on the period after 1945. There you will see the evolution of modern art through schools such as cubism, the \"De Stijl\" movement, expressionism, surrealism, the Cobra group, pop art and minimalist art, featuring the works of Picasso, Chagall, Mondrian, Permeke, Ernst, F. Bacon and Dubuffet.
