Oudegracht (old canal)
Oudegracht NL - 3511 NG Utrecht
This canal is crossed by many bridges and crosses the town from one side to the other. At its start it joins the Rhine and the Vecht. It is one of livelier centres in the town, both on its upper and lower quays. Among the attractive buildings along the quay, notice the Drakenborch (bend in the canal), the Het Oudaen house (no.99, 14C) and the Winkel van Sinkel (1839, at the end of the canal), one of the oldest shops in the country.
