A disused power station dating from the early 20C is the setting for this contemporary art museum created in 1988. The project, the idea of art enthusiast Frederik Roos (1951-1991), consists of initiating the public in contemporary art movements, via temporary theme-based exhibitions. The museum has met with considerable international success.
