2007 Rugby World Cup in Montpellier

Montpellier will be hosting 4 matches and will serve as base camp for the Wallabies team (Australia). Several events will be organised on this occasion throughout the months of September and October.

Montpellier has chosen to take part in a national art and rugby promotion operation.
 
  • Exhibition throughout the city of works by painter Henri Cueco on huge 3 x 9 m canvasses.  
 
  • Presentation of 32 photos from the "Chroniques australiennes" exhibition, on Esplanade Charles de Gaulle (September and October).
 
  • At the Musée Fabre, exhibition of works by painters André Lhôte and Robert Delaunay demonstrating the link between rugby and modern art.
 

Giant screen
 
A giant screen will be located on Place de la Comédie so you can watch live broadcasts of all the matches.
