Hotel Am Markt is located in the pedestrian area by the Viktualienmarkt (a daily food market) in Munich, only 1 minute away from the Marienplatz square. Public transport such as metro and tram conveniently take you to the airport, the railway station and the fair grounds in Riem. There is a public multi-storey car park within 5 walking minutes walking distance. You can stop in front of the hotel to load and unload the car.

The hotel was built in 1897 as a fish market where fish was sold in the today’s dining room. Hand-crafted doors, various fresco works and marble-plated walls are still reminiscent of the bygone times.

The hotel is only a minute away from the town hall and the main metro station. All places of interest in Bavaria and Munich are reachable on foot or by tram.
