"The purpose of Skahard Country Villa is to provide five star luxury accommodation and an all round Irish holiday experience. We offer everything from B and B accommodation to self catering and fully organized, planned holidays for a maximum of six persons. Skahard House is a 200-year-old Georgian farmhouse renovated to reflect a way of life in Ireland of old. It is a boutique hotel set in the quiet, pastoral backdrop of Limerick, which is an ancient city originally founded by the Vikings. Geographically, the hotel is perfectly positioned to experience an impressive amount of Ireland's sites and activities in day trips. The house and grounds are located on our privately owned farm, with lush rolling fields, wild life sanctuary and prehistoric remains of a genuine 2,500 year old ring fort on Skahard hill, with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Holiday leisure is spent relaxing in our outdoor jacuzzi, playng croquet, reading in the conservatory or walking undisturbed on our lands.
