Rocca di Castagnoli ...There are places that go straight to your heart We are internationally known as one of the top wineries in the heart of the Chianti Classico area in Tuscany, producing about half a million bottles of quality wines. The winery is situated in Gaiole in Chianti, halfway Castello di Meleto and Castello di Brolio, around the medieval ´Rocca di Castagnoli´: an eleventh century fortress that has always been the centre of the wine producing estate. As a matter of fact the offices, cellars and wine shop are situated at the sides of the old Rocca. The Rocca or fortress itself has recently been renovated as a luxury hotel, consisting of six beautiful double rooms and seven spacious apartments. All of those are nicely refurnished in a sobre and tasteful style, in truly Tuscan tradition, but with all modern comfort.
