The welcome was pleasant and the room large and well decorated but it was very tired.
The bathroom had a poor smell due to water leakage and the equipment was tired, The toilet had a leak and the owners had placed a towel to soak up the leaking water - not nice!The cooking was very poor indeed, especially for someone who claims to run French cookery courses. Very poor sauces uncooked meat (the lamb we had was inedible) and overpriced pretentious menus. Wine was included at an extra 14 euros but was a poor match for the food - a very sharp Colombard with langoustines and scallops and a poor Muscat with the tasteless deserts! Overall a very poor gastrononic experience and NOT what we have come to know and love of French cuisine. Suggest they find themeselves a new chef and then they might have a chance!
