"Ideally located on the sunny, south-facing slopes of the strikingly beautiful upper Giffre valley, at an altitude of 788 metres in the heart of the small, typically Savoyard village of Verchaix. Opposite is the resort of Morillon, gateway to the ski area of the Grand Massif; the historical village of Samoëns lies just 4 kilometres to the east and at the end of the valley the Nature Reserve and Conservation Area of Sixt Fer-à-Cheval, complete with stunning walks and cascading waterfalls. Major roads offer easy access in under an hour to Geneva, Annecy, Lac Leman and Chamonix-Mont Blanc. Transformed in 2007, our small and friendly, family run chalet-hotel accommodates guests in highly comfortable rooms (including 2 quadruple rooms for families) with balcony / terrace and mountain views. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, enjoy a tasty meal in our restaurant or on the south-facing terrace. Our chef proposes both international cuisine and regional specialities, not forgetting the famous house special of whisky flambéed game. The licensed bar and lounge area is equipped with television and free Wi-Fi Internet access. After a day's skiing, hiking or cycling you can relax in our outdoor Jacuzzi, and marvel at the magnificent sunset. Other features include: ski storage room, children's games room, free parking for cars in front of the building. 50 metres from the ski shuttle service."
