Deeper pockets should go for the Wagyu from Idaho. The gorgeous St. Helena space fashions a bucolic vibe with its black walnut floors, reclaimed from a Midwestern mill, and bar crafted from a trio of walnut trees. A roaring fireplace warms the contemporary yet rustic interior, while a second hearth and candles add to the patio's ambience and make for an ideal spot to sit and sip a rich, steak-worthy cabernet. The raw bar and many seasonal offerings are just as wonderful and will please those who shy away from the main attraction.
