This luxurious and modern Chinese restaurant is set in a most unusual space—on the third floor of Ozone Park's Aqueduct Racetrack, a vast entertainment and gambling center. Genting Palace is palatial, sound-proofed, and offers views of the racetrack, making it a mecca for big spenders and moneyed gamers. Their menu is detailed but focuses on southern China and Canton with tasty dim sum like steamed dumplings filled with shrimp and pork, sticky rice and dried scallops steamed in lotus leaves, and pork spare ribs with a black bean paste. Also find a delicate rendition of shrimp egg foo young set in a marvelous French demi-glace; and a full menu offers the likes of poached chicken and vegetables flavored with holy basil; or fried rice studded with seafood.
