Description

Between Madeleine and Faubourg Saint-Honoré, this luxury hotel in a former 18C mansion has brought it an Andalusian chef. The name ("The Blue Room") is a nod to Picasso, who, like the chef, hailed from Malaga. Dani Garcia is little known in France but famous in Spain, where he clinched three Michelin stars. Whether you are seated in the large inner courtyard with its movable awnings or inside, the Mediterranean and Andalusia take centre stage right from the (many) starters: tuna ventrèche carpaccio; red mullet paella with roasted tomatoes and broccolini; a variety of paellas (cockerel, octopus, eel, rabbit…); excellent fish dishes to share (tuna, turbot).
