The Michelin Guide's review
This gem of a restaurant is somewhat tucked away in a narrow alley in the city centre. In a historical setting with a cosy, rustic feel, diners tuck into international dishes such as king mackerel with radicchio tardivo, coconut and calamansi, as well as regional specialities such as pork belly gröstel (a traditional Tyrolean potato-based fry-up) with cucumber and butterhead lettuce. Order dishes to share à la carte or take a punt on the five-course surprise menu. The staff will be happy to provide wine recommendations. The well-curated selection is international and includes a decent range of natural wines (unfiltered and sulfite-free). Options are somewhat reduced at lunchtime.
