fantastic food and service, lovely pub during summer for family outings as there is a large garden and car parking at the rear.

-Cons

on my visit my steak was seasoned less that I would have liked however cooked and rested beautifully this will not put me off going back!

+Pros

beautiful country pub set in a lovely quirky building, small bar leads off to a number of rooms along a central corridor. friendly staff and cosy atmosphere. while it was raining on and off during my visit the garden looks well suited for family's and friends during summer time. small carpark at the rear makes visiting this gem so easy.

-Cons

two utterly tiny things, my steak had not been seasoned as well as I would have liked (cooked and rested beautifully), and the chips tasted like the oil in the fryer could do with changing as they were slightly soggy. please don't be put off as I very much enjoyed my visit and will return as I'm sure these tiny errors are not common practice in such a delight of a country pub.
