Set in Hyde Park, lined with boutiques and restaurants, Agapi stands out with its modern black exterior. Inside, frescoes enhance the walls and a menu of classic Greek cuisine tempts diners. All of the traditional favorites are here, with a panoply of dips served with freshly basked pita bread, plus chicken and lamb skewers, as well as moussaka. Kick off with charcoal-grilled, locally sourced octopus before tucking in to well-seasoned lamb souvlaki with tzatziki. Kreme kataifi, with its crispy layers and custard cream center, is pure comfort. Come with a group to enjoy the roasted lamb shoulder, but do make reservations, as it takes time to prepare.
