Hidden deep in the countryside, this small 19C château is home to an elegant restaurant and a number of guestrooms. Housed in the converted orangery, the vast space boasts high ceilings, exposed stonework, trendy furnishings and picture windows overlooking the courtyard. The chef's refreshing creativity makes itself felt in dishes that contain aromatic herbs from the garden – for instance, the pollack with shiso leaves and a sauce evoking the flavours of Thailand.
