The Michelin Guide's review
After more than twenty years in Turin, the Vicina family has returned to its origins, to the very place where it all began with father Roberto, a true master of cooking over the grill. A signature dish on the menu is dedicated to him: the Fassone Piemontese rib, subjected to a long period of dry-ageing that brings out its succulence and depth of character. The guiding thread of the offering, which the family themselves describe as ‘contemporary tradition’, is firmly rooted in the Piedmontese kitchen, enriched however by the experience and sensitivity accumulated over the years. The restaurant is situated within a new hotel in a semi-central position, where during the week a simpler and more straightforward lunch formula is also available.
