In the bright, modern conservatory setting, Andreas Krainer serves seasonal regional cuisine with traditional Austrian influences – it is full of flavour, meticulous yet pleasingly straightforward. Expect Pöllau beef steaks, local fish and classics such as Wiener schnitzel made with Styrian milk-fed veal. Desserts include indulgent sweet treats such as a Styrian Germknödel (steamed yeast dumpling) with pumpkin seed oil and a dried-pear filling.
