Modern Cuisine
The Michelin Guide's review
Famous for their cookery schools, Le Cordon Bleu also operate restaurants, including this one in a Grade II listed building originally designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens for the Press Association. The room is stylishly decorated in soothing blues and whites, and the impeccably attired chefs are on show in the glass-fronted kitchen. The cooking shows a strong classical bent, with dishes such as venison en croûte and a reimagined Black Forest gateau presented in an eye-catching, modern style.
