Italian Contemporary
The Michelin Guide's review
A leading figure on the Milanese gastronomic scene for over sixty years, this historic establishment continues to attract lovers of haute cuisine thanks to a menu that celebrates Italian produce and regions with a contemporary twist. The two tasting menus created by Alessandro Negrini and Fabio Pisani elegantly highlight the Lombard roots of the former and the Apulian roots of the latter. As well as the set menus, you can also choose from the à la carte menu, selecting at least two dishes in addition to a dessert. Aimo’s ‘Piatti del Cuore’ are a must-try, including the iconic durum wheat spaghettoni with fresh spring onions, chilli, extra virgin olive oil and Ligurian basil. The extensive wine list, which can be viewed on a tablet, is also well worth a look; it features rare wines and real gems for connoisseurs. The attentive and considerate service discreetly complements the whole experience.
