The Michelin Guide's review
"France, Japan, Innviertel" sums up the culinary concept here. In the open kitchen, Lukas Kienbauer and his team create a surprise menu whose structure is inspired by the kaiseki tradition. The quality of the ingredients is excellent and the craftsmanship precise. The full menu comprises 12 "moments", with a shorter version also available. Japanese A5 Wagyu can be added on or substituted for another course. There is an excellent selection of wines, to be perused on a tablet, and interesting wine or alcohol-free pairings accompany the set menu. Service is charming and attentive. The tasteful setting is a distinctive combination of old vaulting and modern design. Tip: Combine your culinary experience with a walk along the Inn, which is just a short walk from the Baroque Old Town.
