The Michelin Guide's review
You follow a series of hairpin bends to get to this restaurant on the Asiago plateau, where you’ll find some of the most creative and original gourmet cuisine in Italy, largely thanks to owner-chef Alessandro Dal Degan. “Journey” and “path” are two of the chef’s favourite words, both of which are a good description of the gastronomic experience on offer at La Tana Gourmet. The chef offers a long tasting menu (there’s no choice of courses) which he himself explains to guests at their table. Every single dish will amaze you and open up new perspectives, as part of a gastronomic feast full of intense and decisive flavours which is all the more surprising given the absence of salt and sugar. Front of house, Enrico Maglio oversees an equally original and impressive selection of drinks to accompany your meal, all of which offer the perfect complement to the superb cuisine served here.
