This 500-year-old heritage-protected inn is now a hotel and restaurant run by Patricia and Cäsar Meyer, who represent the second generation of their family here. Cäsar has a penchant for fish caught in Lake Zurich, just a stone's throw away – you can't get any fresher or more regional than that! Meat and vegetables, too, are sourced from the immediate vicinity. Besides the whitefish and perch, the Stäfa venison is especially worth trying – it is served as the overnight-braised shoulder with Pinot Noir sauce. This cuisine is built on regional ingredients.
