The Michelin Guide's review
It is worth venturing a little beyond the city centre and leaving the usual tourist trails to reach this restaurant. This cosy, family-friendly venue, which began life as a café-tavern in 1996 and has now been completely refurbished, offers authentic cuisine with plenty of personality. Talented Albanian chef Sami Xhecuka offers cuisine rich in traditional flavours, rooted in Mediterranean and Greek gastronomy and reinterpreted with a contemporary, creative touch. Our recommendation? The delicious Polvo com mel, octopus with honey served with chickpeas and preserved cherry tomatoes, and the unmissable Frango Assado à Mexicana, Mexican-style roast chicken marinated in soy sauce and served with avocado mousse and mayonnaise.
