L’oh has pulled off the feat of combining a classy stylish interior with a feel-good, homely vibe. One glance at the kitchen, behind a glazed partition, reveals the enthusiasm, spot-on precision and dedication of the kitchen brigade. Chef Simon’s hallmark revolves around outstanding produce and local delicacies, including from his own garden, together with a passion for spices. An example of his consummate craftsmanship are the scallops from Dieppe, which are glazed and served with various textures of pumpkin and a creamy Vadouvan sauce. This talented chef is confident enough to simply allow the ingredients to shout their name. The sublime trolleys of cheese and sweets further demonstrate the overriding quest for quality.
