Michelin Guide
Japanese
The Michelin Guide's review
At Spazio Musa, a contemporary art gallery in the heart of Turin’s Quadrilatero district, a project is taking shape that brings together culture, design and haute cuisine. Amid striking exposed brick vaults and spaces furnished with elegant simplicity, Christian Mandura and Alessandro Daddea have created a dining experience centred on omakase, the Japanese concept whereby the chef curates the tasting menu. Seated at the counter, guests watch the dishes being prepared first-hand, appreciating the precision of the cuts, the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the presentation. The experience takes place in a dynamic, multifunctional setting: aperitifs and the end of the meal are enjoyed in the elegant adjoining sitting rooms, which are integrated with a lounge bar that rounds off the experience. Alongside the selection of wines, the extensive sake list is also well worth a look; it has been curated for enthusiasts and those simply curious to explore Japanese culinary culture in greater depth.
