The Michelin Guide's review
Packed with flavour, craftsmanship and carefully selected ingredients, the menu at this long-established establishment is sure to impress. The man who makes it all happen is chef-owner Alain Koenig. Fish takes centre stage, but by no means will meat lovers and vegetarians be disappointed. Dishes such as "char, morels, potato and wild garlic purée" or "duck breast, rhubarb, honey, brioche dumplings" are particularly appetising examples. You can dine à la carte or opt for one of two set menus: "Menu Dégustation" and "Menu Terroir". The excellent wine list has a penchant for Switzerland, France and Italy. With its classic ambience of dark green panelling, wooden floorboards and elegant table settings, the interior is inviting. Service is attentive and friendly. Tip: For private dining or events, book the historical vaulted cellar.
