In his six-course "BERG.SEE." set menu, chef-patron Hannes Müller showcases his distinctive cooking style, placing excellent-quality ingredients centre stage. Much comes from the family's own farm or trusted local producers. A fillet of whitefish, perfectly cooked in butter, is paired with wonderfully tender fennel, chopped toasted almonds, fermented fennel and various types of sorrel – a delicate, finely judged and wonderfully aromatic creation. A vegetarian set menu is also available if ordered in advance. The wine list has a strong Austrian emphasis and includes numerous organic and biodynamic wines. Heading up the polished front-of-house team, hostess and sommelier Monika Müller is exceptionally warm, highly professional and always attentive to diners' needs.
