Adjacent to the church in this tranquil little village, this inn was established in 1616 and is now run by Barbara Langwallner, who is carrying on the family tradition. Food is served in well-kept, charmingly rustic dining rooms or, in fine weather, on the lovely terrace. With the family's own butcher's shop on site, the menu includes classics such as tartare, Viennese goulash, schnitzel and Tafelspitz (prime boiled beef), as well as locally caught fish, vegetarian options and – in the form of an ever-changing set menu – more creative dishes, which can also be ordered individually.
